How to apply for funding

The MND Association is a world leader in funding cutting-edge MND research and facilitating international research collaboration.

The next grant round is for PhD Studentships and Non-Clinical Fellowships. The deadline date for summary applications is 4 May 2018.

This round will open on 9 March 2018.

To apply, please register and complete our Online Summary Application Form. It is important to read our Guidelines, Terms and Conditions and the Guide to Completing the Online Summary Application Form before completing the form. It is also recommended that you read the MND Association Research Strategy and Research Governance Overview.

Biomedical Research Project Grants

Funding research of the highest scientific merit and greatest relevance to MND

Deadline: 2 November 2018

Biomedical PhD Studentships

An effective means of attracting promising science graduates to develop a career in MND related research

Deadline: 4 May 2018

Clinical Fellowships

Clinical Research Training Fellowship (Round 1)
Deadline: 10 January 2018

Clinical Research Training Fellowship (Round 2)
Deadline: 6 September 2018

Clinician Scientist Fellowship
Deadline: 5 April 2018

Senior Clinical Fellowship
Deadline: 5 April 2018

Non-Clinical Fellowships

Junior Non-Clinical Fellowship (2 – 5 years post-doctoral experience)

Senior Non-Clinical Fellowship (4 – 10 years post-doctoral experience)

Deadline: 4 May 2018
