THANK YOU
Kick for Cure - Celebrity Football
A huge thank you to everyone who supported the recent Kick for a Cure celebrity football match in Worcester.
More than 800 people came together at Sixways Stadium to raise awareness and show their support for people affected by motor neurone disease (MND).
This powerful show of community reflects just how important moments like this are in bringing people together to stand alongside those living with MND and their families.
Our dedicated Hereford and Worcester branch volunteers raised an incredible £2,302, including a remarkable £1,000 donation from one generous supporter. Your support helps ensure people with MND get the care and support they need today, while funding vital research for the future.
Special thanks to all the volunteers who made it happen. Your commitment, energy and community spirit make a meaningful difference to people with MND and those close to them.
Together, we're helping to improve care, fund research and support everyone affected by MND.

Volunteer with us
Could you give your time to make a difference to people affected by MND in Herefordshire and Worcestershire?
We recognise that time is valuable and, whether you donate time as a one-off or become a regular volunteer, we're grateful for all support. Volunteering with your local group is a fantastic way to join our MND family and help your local community make a real difference to people affected by MND.
We currently have the following volunteering opportunities available:
- Fundraiser
- Association Visitor
- General volunteer
- Group Leader - With the unfortunate resignation of Phil Clayton, we are now looking for a Group Leader to run and organise the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Area Group. Fundraise for us
Fundraising locally is a very important aspect for our group and helps us provide local support, contribute to research commissioned by the MND Association and promote awareness of the disease.
Our branch fundraising team can offer support with your event with T-Shirts, Advertising, Decorations and anything else you need to hold a great MND event!
