  • Honouring Christian Burton: A Legacy of Music, Courage, and Community

In memory of Christian Burton, who passed away in August following a courageous two-year battle with Motor Neurone Disease (MND), an incredible £17,750 has been donated to support the Herefordshire & Worcestershire branch of the MND Association.

Christian’s journey inspired a wave of fundraising efforts from friends, family, and supporters — each one a testament to his impact and the love surrounding him. Highlights include:

    🏃 Si Coopey’s 96-mile Highland Way run

✈️ Neil Cox’s first flight in 35 years, overcoming a lifelong fear to honour his best friend

🎸 Charity gigs, cake sales, marathons, and raffles — featuring everything from Mandalorian helmets to motorcycles

🎶 Support from local bands, musicians, venues, and a generous grant from Ride2Give

These funds helped Christian access vital equipment, including a specialist wheelchair and Eyegaze technology, which allowed him to continue DJing and producing music without the use of his hands. These tools will now be donated to others living with MND, extending Christian’s legacy even further.

A celebration of Christian’s life was held at Heroes Bar in Worcester, owned by his partner Siân Patterson, where the donation was formally handed over.

“Christian’s creativity and strength touched so many lives. This fundraiser is a beautiful reflection of the community he built and the hope he continues to inspire.”

Thank you to everyone who contributed — your generosity is helping change lives and honouring Christian’s memory in the most meaningful way.
