• Share your story: Explain why you are taking on your fundraising challenge and why raising money for the MND Association means so much to you. 
  • Add pictures and videos to your page: We’ve seen from our fundraisers that those who share images on their page raise 87% more than those without a picture!
  • Tell your supporters how their donation helps: People like to know how they are making a difference. Share our Difference you can make poster on social media or on your fundraising page.
  • Increase your target: Every time you hit your target, increase it, giving you and your supporters something to aim for.
  • Talk to your employer: Many companies offer matched funding schemes, where they made a donation, or even match pound for pound. Speak to your manager or HR department and see if they can help.  
  • Share, share share: It’s great to share your fundraising on social media, but don’t forget to share in other ways too. Email your colleagues, share on the group WhatsApp chats and don’t forget to tell people about your amazing fundraising when you see them. 
  • Get started by donating to your page yourself: pages with self-donations raised 60% more last year than pages without.  
  • Download your QR code: Add /qrcode to your fundraising URL to download your QR code. Print it and take it into work so that people who don't have cash can still support you!
  • Connect fitness apps: If you are taking on a fitness challenge, don’t forget to connect your page to Fitbit or Strava. It will show your supporters how hard you are working. 
  • Don’t forget to share your fundraising page after your challenge: 20% of donations come in after you have completed your challenge, so don’t forget to share your achievement!
