Examining the factors influencing quality of life in neurological conditions

TONiC (Trajectories of Outcome in Neurological Conditions) is the largest study in the UK examining the factors that influence quality of life in patients with neurological conditions, including MND. TONiC aims to have a significant and positive impact on the lives of all patients living with neurological conditions, regardless of symptoms, stage of illness, age or social status.

Taking Part

What does taking part involve?

If you are a person with MND, you will be asked to complete paper-based questionnaires, which can be filled out at home at your leisure. The questionnaires will ask you about different aspects of your quality of life, from symptoms you experience, to worries you have and how your condition impacts on your home environment.

Who can take part?

• People living with MND

How can I take part?

People with MND who wish to take part should contact their chosen participating centre, details of which can be found on the TONiC website, or you can contact the study team direct (0151 529 5668/2980) or email [email protected]
