The Group is run entirely by volunteers and aims to provide the best possible support to local people with MND, their families, and carers.

Care and Support 

We help to provide care, support and advice for those living with MND and their families in the area, the LA postcode plus the villages of South Cumbria and North Lancashire.

Support Meetings

Our monthly support meetings are open to anyone in the area living with or affected by MND and feature speakers, presentations and displays.

The dates for 2026 are:

  • 23rd March
  • 27th April
  • 18th May
  • 29th June
  • 27th July
  • 24th August
  • 28th September
  • 26th October
  • 30th November

We also have a meeting planned for 27th January 2027.
