A powerful charity reveal

Since the Sussex House Draw launched at the end of May, around 300 people will have been diagnosed with MND—each told there’s no cure and no effective treatment.

Thanks to everyone who entered, an incredible £4,100,000 has been raised for the MND Association. Your support will help improve access to care, fund vital research, and campaign for those affected by this devastating disease.

David Scott is living with MND and has supported the MND Association’s partnership with Omaze by sharing his story. He explained:

“MND means I can no longer speak. I can’t eat in the usual way. Every day, I’m finding it harder to get around.

“But with the support of my incredible wife, Claire, and our amazing family and friends, I’m determined to make every moment count – by making memories, raising awareness of this devastating disease and by fundraising.

“By entering the draw you’re helping to fund the development of the MND Association’s Research Nurse Network, which will empower people living with MND to get involved in important research.

“But more importantly, you’re giving people like me the gift of hope. Hope that one day we will get the breakthrough in MND research we are all so impatient to see.”
