Learning and Development
Welcome to the ‘Learning and Development’ section of the Volunteer Zone.
Volunteering should be a rewarding experience that enables you to learn new skills and develop throughout your volunteering journey. We want to ensure that you have the opportunity and information you need in order to grow with us as we develop.
In this section you will find information about events, workshops and other personal development opportunities that you might be interested in attending. These include those offered by us, as well as links to opportunities offered by other organisations.
New online learning resource!
We have a new online learning platform available for all volunteers. It hosts a range of learning modules to help you build upon your existing knowledge and develop new skills. These include writing and public speaking modules to how to use Microsoft Office.
To access the Learning Zone you will need to register with an email address. If you don’t have an email address or have recently set up a new one please let the volunteering team know by ringing 0345 6044 150.
Visit the zone: Learning Zone
Your username will be your email address and the default password will be ‘changeme’ which you will be prompted to change when you first log in.
Over the coming months we’ll be listening to your feedback to shape and add to the courses on offer and develop this platform so if you have a spare few minutes please complete our feedback survey. Alternatively, please email email@example.com with your thoughts.
