Race Night - Tuesday 24th March
We would like to invite you, your friends and family to join us for an evening of fun at the races! It may be dark
and cold outside, but we will be racing in the comfort of the pub and the race will be on a screen. You pick a
horse by its name and place your bet (up to five £1 stakes per race). There are no odds involved. If you win,
you share 1/2 the money with any others who have chosen that horse. The other 1/2 goes to MNDA. There will
be 8 races to try your luck. If you're very lucky, you may take home more money than you came with!
Food and drink is available to buy at the bar. The pub is wheelchair accessible. All money raised on the
evening goes directly to the NW London Branch of MND Association.
Tickets are available on Eventbrite: www.eventbrite.com/e/a-night-at-the-races-tickets-90763727753

Canal Boat Trip - Sunday 28th June
This is a firm favorite in our Events calendar and we hope as many of you as possible can join us. People
with MND, their families, friends and carers are welcome. Children are also welcome; they enjoy the trip and
love to help with the locks. The canal boat is fully accessible for wheelchairs and suitable for frail people. It is
covered and has panoramic windows, so is suitable whatever the weather. We travel on a beautiful stretch of
canal. The trip is organised by Waterways Experiences - http://wexp.org.uk. Home made refreshments will be
provided. There is a bit of a party atmosphere on board with plentiful food and drink. Please note that there is
no charge for the trip.
Please reserve your place early to avoid disappointment by contacting Mo and do let her know if you need
any assistance with transport. firstname.lastname@example.org.
Time: Meet at 1.00pm for departure at 1.30pm. The trip will last for about 3 hours.
